◯仮想現実の中で、あなたは自分自身に遭遇します。

その瞬間、身体は一体誰のものになるでしょう？

　わたしが幼かった頃から比べて、世界は信じられないくらいに複雑になりました。様々なものが情報に置き換えられるようになり、現実のものとバーチャルでフィクショナルなものとの境界は曖昧さの中に溶け出しています。そしてVRとの出会いは、ついに身体までもが情報化・複製されるようになってしまった、という点においてわたしにとっては喪失的な衝撃でした。

　本作では、晴れた仮想現実のもとで分裂してしまった自分に対峙します。その瞬間、身体は一体誰のものになるでしょう？

現実とフィクションの間にある曖昧な部分を奇妙な身体で行き来しながら、揺らぐ自分存在を捉えることを試みます。

▼You sense another “self” of you. At the moment, whose body does it become?

     As I have been growing up, the world has turned to more complex. Now many things can be replaced with data. The boundary between the real and the virtual is melting into schizophrenic haze. In 2019, I met VR. It was a shocking loss in the sense that the human body as well as the first-person view is forced to be replaced with data at last.

     In my VR artwork, you sense another “self” of yours. At the moment, whose body does it become? I try to comprehend the ambiguous self while crossing the boundary between the real and the virtual.
