ニンテンドックスのチワワを散歩してた時の街の風景のことをぼんやり考えながら、この絵は制作していました。

あの街は霧に包まれていて、遠景が存在しません。

外の世界との陸続きなルートが存在しない、島みたいな街なのです。

これはわたしの街や生活に対するわたしの世界観に通底するものがあります。

When I was making this piece, I was wondering about a Japanese game I played before.

The game is a virtual pet game. I had a Chihuahua in it, and I often walk with it. 

( this image is new version of the series, so it is not exact one, but kind of image )

The town I walked is covered with fog, and we cannot see through to the horizon.

So, this image let me assume this town as kind of a lonely island.

I did not wonder about the outside of this town. But, it is not so lonely, because wireless communication system was available in this game. It means we are sure about the exist of other towns out of my own town.

It is exactly based on hyper text idea.

I think, hyper text or internet idea has connection with the society in globalization. 

Actually this painting does not have connection with such idea, but this idea is my fundamental perspective to today's world since I was just a little boy.
